BEE setup facilitation centre for promotion of Energy Efficiency Financing in India

Tamil Nadu: Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has set up a facilitation centre for the promotion of Energy Efficiency Financing in India. To promote this facilitation centre, a webinar was organised on 9th Sept 2022 with support from Tamil Nadu SDA. 

The participation of the webinar covered a large spectrum of stakeholders. More than 85 large industries, MSME, ESCO, Industry associations etc. attended the webinar. 

During the webinar, the IT platform of the Facilitation Centre and EE project were discussed to be routed through Facilitation Centre. 

The prime objective of the facilitation center is to connect financial institutions with potential borrowers and accelerate financing of EE projects in India.
