BEL in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, organised a mega blood donation camp
New Delhi: Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, organised a mega blood donation camp on the occasion of Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav today.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Vinay Kumar Katyal, Director, Bengaluru Complex, in the presence of Mr R P Mohan, General Manager (HR)/BEL-BG Complex.
The blood donors included BEL employees and their family members, contract engineers and staff, trainees, students of the BEL Educational Institutions, and other stakeholders. A total of 1,750 units of blood were donated today, a new record compared to the 1,404 units which were donated at a camp organised here in 2018.
