BEML indigenized 14 critical components of HMV Transmission
New Delhi: Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) is an Indian Public Sector Undertaking, headquartered that manufactures a variety of heavy equipment has successfully indigenized 14 critical components of HMV Transmission viz Bearings, Counter Shaft, Synchroniser Assembly, Gear Shift Booster Assembly, Switches etc. with substantial cost savings. With these actions, the HMV T/m has become 100% indigenized aggregate.
BEML is Asia's second-largest manufacturer of earth moving equipment, BEML has recently introduced road headers and slide discharge Loaders for underground mining applications.
Railway products include integral rail coaches, electric multiple units, rail buses, track-laying equipment and overhead equipment inspection Cars.
