BEML Showcases Indigenisation Drive at Defence Conclave 2025, Coimbatore
BEML Ltd., with the lead partnership of the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) and in collaboration with M/s TCL, organised a Defence Conclave focusing on key Ministry of Defence initiatives — Srijan Portal, Registration of Defence Stores Manufacturers, and Quality in Defence Stores.
New Delhi: BEML Ltd., with the lead partnership of the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) and in collaboration with M/s TCL, organised a Defence Conclave focusing on key Ministry of Defence initiatives — Srijan Portal, Registration of Defence Stores Manufacturers, and Quality in Defence Stores.
The event, held at CODISSIA, Coimbatore on November 13 & 14, 2025, was inaugurated by Shri N. Manoharan, DG, DGQA, in the presence of senior DGQA officials and Dr. J. Rajesh Kumar, Director, CVRDE.
During their visit to the BEML stall, Shri N. Manoharan and Dr. J. Rajesh Kumar appreciated BEML’s efforts towards indigenisation and its contributions to strengthening India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.
The conclave served as a valuable platform to:
- Apprise MSMEs and startups of procedures under MoD/DDP
- Promote awareness about Srijan Portal, Srijan DEEP, and indigenisation opportunities
- Explain the process of registration for Defence Stores Manufacturers
- Highlight industry support schemes, vendor development, and quality assurance initiatives
- Facilitate B2B and B2G interactions between DPSUs and industries/startups
