BHEL announces the appointment of Dr. Yogesh R Chhabra as Company Secretary
Dr. Yogesh R Chhabra aged 49 years, has been appointed as Company Secretary, BHEL w.e.f. 11th July, 2024.
State-owned BHEL board has announced Dr. Yogesh R Chhabra, Additional General Manager, as the Company Secretary, effective from 11 July 2024.
As per the regulatory filing made, Dr. Yogesh R Chhabra, Additional General Manager, BHEL is appointed as Company Secretary, BHEL w.e.f. 11.07.2024 vice Shri Rajeev Kalra relinquished the charge of Company Secretary, BHEL (at the close of business hours on 10.07.2024) due to his Promotion cum transfer to BHEL Corporate R&D Unit, Hyderabad.

Dr. Yogesh R Chhabra aged 49 years, has been appointed as Company Secretary, BHEL w.e.f. 11th July, 2024. Before he was appointed Company Secretary, Dr. Chhabra had been holding the position of Addl. General Manager (Finance), BHEL. Dr. Chhabra is a Commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai.
He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is also an Associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Dr. Chhabra is also a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Commerce. In his about 28 years of professional experience, he has equipped himself with various facets in the area of Corporate Finance, Governance, Company Law, Listing Regulations, and other board-related matters in various capacities.
