Cataract Eradication Camp Organised in Wellness Centre HEC
Ranchi: As part of the ongoing Cataract Eradication Camp - 2018-19 under the banner of DRUSHTI in association with SBI Hatia was held in HEC wellness Centre. The registration of which was started on 20th February 2019 and Surgical Camp from 23rd Feb 2019. A Valedictory Function was held today on 5th March 2019, in which the Chief Guest was Shri M. K. Saxena, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, HEC Ltd.
Guest of honour Smt. Arundati Panda, Director (Finance) HEC, Shri Rana S. Chakravarty, Director (Marketing), Shri Jasbir Singh, AGM, SBI Hatia were also present on the occasion.
Dr. K. K. Kadam, Advisor (Medical), HEC in his address said that this was 12th Camp in a series and assure that such camp will be organized in future also. The camp has been conducted under the banner DRUSHTI - a Movement to eradicate blindness. While a total of 231 cases were registered and 70 Nos. of operation have been done till date.
Dr. O.P. Sinha, Consultant Ophthalmologist of Plant Hospital Present report on the Camp who play the role as Eye Surgeon.
Shri M. K. Saxena, CMD, HEC also praised the efforts being taken by HEC wellness Centre in holding Camp.
Earlier the guests were welcomed with boquets and a welcomed with bouquets and a welcome song by the Nursing students. The Programme was anchored by Dr. Rahul sanket and vote of thanks by Dr. Aditi Sinha.
On the occasion spectacles were given to the patients by the HEC Wellness Centre and Towel distributed to the patients by HEC Mahila Samiti, free of cost.
