CMD, GAIL chaired session at 49th IFTDO World Conference 2022
New Delhi: Chairman and Managing Director, GAIL (India) Limited Manoj Jain while chairing the session at the 49th IFTDO World Conference 2022, talked about the need for agility due to significant technological advancement, impact of epidemics, business uncertainties, and changing environment.
He also stressed on the importance of building an agile culture – speed vs consensus – striking a balance between dynamism and stability. For bringing cultural change, he emphasized the need to align the expectations of new millennials and businesses with digital platforms.
He stated that strategy should remain relevant with time. Thus, strategy for long term to be reviewed periodically for right directions whereas short term business strategies facing drastic change needs to be dealt appropriately with speed.
