CMD of SJVN visited Buxar Thermal Power Project, Bihar on inspection tour
Bihar: Shri. N L Sharma, CMD SJVN visited the under-construction 1320MW Buxar Thermal Power Project in Bihar. Shri. Sharma took a detailed review of the progress of construction activities. While addressing the employees, Shri. N L Sharma exhorted them to work day and night to ensure timely commissioning of the project and to achieve the Capital Expenditure targets set for BTPP. He held a meeting with the management of EPC contractor M/s L&T and asked them to devise acceleration plans to make up for the time lost due to COVID 19.
Shri. Sanjeev Sood, CEO, STPL, along with all the employees welcomed Hon’ble Chairman & Managing Director at the project site. While ensuring timely completion, Sh. Sanjeev Sood expressed his gratitude towards him for sparing his valuable time to be amongst STPL employees and motivating them.
SJVN Thermal Power Limited (STPL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited which is executing the 1320 MW (660 X 2) Buxar Thermal Power Project in Chausa, Buxar (Bihar). The project construction work is in full swing and is scheduled to be completed by October 2023. On commissioning, the project will generate the energy of 9828 MU per annum and herald a new era of prosperity in the area.
