CMPDI commissions a rock cutting machine
On this occasion, Shri A.K.Rana, D(T/P&D); Shri Rajiw Lochan, Advisor (CED), Shri Chiranjib Patra, HoD (CED); Shri Manoj Sahay, CM( Mining) and other employees were present.
Rock cutting machine (PSU Connect)
Ranchi: Central Mine Planning & Design Institute commissioned a new rock cutting machine at its mining technology lab in Ranchi. The rock cutting machine is used for the preparation of rock and coal core samples. It also helps in identifying various physicomechanical properties tests like the Uni-axial comprehensive strength test, Tri-axial comprehensive strength, and Shear strength.
Shri Shekhar Saran, CMD of CMPDI inaugurated the Rock Cutting Machine at M.T. Lab, CMPDI(HQ) on November 12, 2020. Rock Cutting Machine is used for the preparation of Rock and Coal Core Samples for different Physico-Mechanical properties tests like Uni-axial comprehensive strength test, Tri-axial comprehensive strength, Shear strength, etc.
