Coal Minister had detailed discussion with Gujarat's Energy Minister
He instructed the authorities to continuously supply stones to the heat plants in Gujarat.
New Delhi: Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines, Govt Of India, Pralhad Joshi had a detailed discussion was held in New Delhi with Gujarat's Energy Minister Shri Kanu Desai on improving the supply system of stone pelters to Gujarat.
He instructed the authorities to continuously supply stones to the heat plants in Gujarat.
Also invited the Gujarat Energy Minister Shri Kanu Desai for a detailed discussion on improving coal supplies to the State. Directed coal companies to ensure uninterrupted coal supply to thermal power plants in Gujarat.
However the Minsiter also said, Coal stock at the power plants of Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited is around 7 lakh tonnes and should last for around 13 days.
