Coal Quality Improvement Fortnight organized in SECL
New Delhi: The Coal Quality Improvement Fortnight was organized in different areas of SECL from August 14-27, 2022 under the direction of Chairman and Managing Director SECL Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra.
On the first day of the Coal Quality Improvement Fortnight, the quality flag was hoisted by the General Managers of all the regions and quality oath was administered to all the officers and employees.
Awareness campaigns by SECL
During this fortnight, awareness campaigns were conducted for coal quality improvement by all the regions and seminars and workshops were also organized, under which all the aspects that can be done to improve the quality of coal were discussed. Various competitions like slogan and essay competition were organized in the regions and the successful participants in these competitions and the employees who contributed actively in quality improvement were also motivated by rewarding them. Souvenirs were released and distributed on this occasion in some areas.
Conduts Inspections in different fields
On this occasion, various inspection teams were constituted comprising the Quality Control Department of the Headquarters and the officers working in different fields. During this fortnight by these inspection teams, the work done for improving the coal quality of all the areas was meticulously assessed. General Manager (Quality Control), visited SECL Headquarters Hasdeo area, Gevra area and Raigad area.
