CWC contribute their one day salary Rs 65.41 Lakhs to the PM CARES Fund
New Delhi: Central Warehouse Corporation (CWC) defers, revision of storage tariff till 30th June'2020, to provide much needed monetary relief of about Rs.7.5 crores, for alleviating financial distress being faced by depositors due to Corona Covid-19 Virus pandemic.
Further All employee of Central Warehouse Corporation (CWC) contribute their one day’s salary, about Rs.65.41 Lakhs to the Prime Minister Citizens’ Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation (PM CARES) Fund to fight against the corona virus pandemic.
In these adverse & critical situation CWC in last 6 days of lockdown, have handled 98 rakes, 2.05 lac MT foodgrains, in 11 states, ensuring regular handling & transportation of foodgrains.
