DVC introduces an assistance scheme for families of employees who died due to Covid-19
The scheme consists of Medical Benefits and grant of Children's Education Allowance (including Hostel Subsidy) at par with the dependents of the existing employees till the notional date of retirement of the deceased employee.
New Delhi: DVC has introduced a "Family Assistance Scheme" for the families of those deceased employees who have lost their precious lives due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The scheme consists of Medical Benefits and grant of Children's Education Allowance (including Hostel Subsidy) at par with the dependents of the existing employees till the notional date of retirement of the deceased employee.
Enhanced ex-gratia payment of Rs. 15 lakh from the existing of Rs. 5 lakh.
Provision of Apprenticeship Training/ITI/Skill Development Training to the spouse/children of the deceased employees through CSR activities.
Retaining of accommodation in one DVC station up to 18 years' age of the eldest child, as per eligibility of the deceased employee while in service.
