New Delhi: Damodar Valley Corporation, Kolkata has been awarded the Best Rajbhasha Kirti (Second) Award by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under Board/Trust/Autonomous Body in Region 'C' for the year 2021-22 for its excellent implementation in Hindi.

The award was presented to DVC President Shri Ram Naresh Singh by Union Minister of State for Home Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra during Hindi Diwas celebrations under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah at the Second All India Official Language Conference held in Surat, Gujarat.

On this occasion, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel, Union Minister of State for Home Shri Nishith Pramanik, and a large number of other Union and State Cabinet Ministers, MPs, and MLAs were present.

It is to be known that DVC has also got the first prize for the year 2019--20, and 2021-22 for doing excellent work in the official language.
