New Delhi: Electronics Corporation of India Limited celebrated its 76th year of Independence at factory premises on 15th August 2022. ECIL's CMD, Rear Admiral Sanjay Chaubey (Retd.), hoisted the National Flag and inspected the Guard of Honour presented by the CISF contingent.

CMD in his Independence Day message congratulated all the employees on the 76th Independence Day. CMD shared that after Independence India has achieved Self Reliance in all fields including food supply, internal security, health, education, and Defence, but still we need to be independent in the areas of strategic electronics.

ECIL being Strategic Electronics Company is contributing in bringing new Technology and Products to achieve Self Reliance. ECIL has taken many initiatives to contribute in "Atma Nirbhar Bharat" Towards this all employees have to put conclusive and further achieve and bring India to No. 1 position in Technology, especially in areas of Strategic Electronics CMD expressed that ECIL employees have full dedication and enthusiasm to contribute in the field of Technology Development. 

Director (Technical) Dr. Anesh Kumar Sharma shared that we are facing multiple challenges which by our commitment and devotion to work can always be overcome. He also requested to one and all that let us identify milestones projects or assignments for the year and contribute towards the growth of the company and nation at large.

As a token of appreciation, for their exemplary contribution during the year, thirteen employees from different divisions were recognized and given a certificate of appreciation by CMD ECIL's in-house Magazine Gaurav’s issue on “Nuclear Technology” was also released This celebration was attended by Executive Directors, GMs, HODs, Shri Y Raja Karunanidhi, Secretary, ECOA and Shri R Joshi Kumar, General Secretary, S&WU.
