ECL organised seminar on fire and spontaneous combustion
Sonepur: Eastern Coalfields Ltd. is observing a fortnight long safety drive and organised a seminar on “Fire and Spontaneous Combustion” at Sonepur Bazari Area.
The process of self heating of coal due to auto oxidation eventually results in its ignition and is termed as “spontaneous heating”. It is the most important cause of fires in coal mines across the world.The seminar was attended by ECL employees and proper social distancing was maintained.
