EIL Q2 FY26: Shares surges by 6% despite Net Profit falls by 16.19%

EIL announced the second quarterly results for the financial year 2025-1,6 the total income of the company is standing at Rs 9.58 trillion for Q2FY26. The total expenses of the company for the second quarter are at Rs 8.12 trillion.

New Delhi: State-owned Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) has announced the second quarterly results for the financial year 2025-16. The revenue from operations for the second quarter is standing at Rs 9.21 trillion as against Rs 6.88 trillion in Q2FY25. While the total income of the company is standing at Rs 9.58 trillion for Q2FY26. The total expenses of the company for the second quarter are at Rs 8.12 trillion.

The net profit of the second quarter has fallen by 16.19% to Rs 8348.69 lakhs as against Rs 9963.20 lakhs in the corresponding period of the previous year. On the segment front, the consultancy and engineering projects stand at Rs 4.3 trillion, and that of the turnkey project is at Rs 4.8 trillion.

With the quarter results for the September-end, the shares of Engineers India Ltd. get boosted by 6.05% at Rs 202.01 at BSE.
