Former CRPF top boss Appointed on NLC India Board
The government of India has appointed Mr. Mishra, IPS: former Director-General, CRPF, as the Independent Director on the Board of NLC India Limited.
New Delhi: Retired IPS officer Prakash Mishra is on board of the Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited as the Independent Director of the company. The government of India has appointed Mr. Mishra, IPS: former Director-General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), as the Independent Director on the Board of NLC India Limited.
Between 2014 to 2016
Back in 2014 Prakash Mishra took over as the new chief of the country’s largest paramilitary and lead anti-Naxal operations force CRPF till 2016, and also served as the Special Secretary (Internal Security) in the Union Home Ministry.
Joined BJP in 2019
Former IPS officer Mr. Mishra who served as Odisha DGP joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 2019 in the presence of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Mishra's entry into the BJP was not planned as he said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's style of working highly impressed him and made him to do so.
