FY 20-21: NTPC pays a final dividend of Rs. 3,054.45 crore
The RTGS advice for the transfer of Rs. 1,560.93 crore, being the share of Government of India in the final dividend, was presented to Shri R.K.Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Power and Ministry of New & Renewable Energy by Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC
New Delhi: National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC Ltd.), an Indian statutory corporation has paid a final dividend of Rs. 3,054.45 crore, for the financial year 2020-21, being 31.5% of the paid-up equity share capital of the Company.
The RTGS advice for the transfer of Rs. 1,560.93 crore, being the share of Government of India in the final dividend, was presented to Shri R.K.Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Power and Ministry of New & Renewable Energy by Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC in the presence of Shri Alok Kumar, Secretary (Power), Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Additional Secretary and Shri Ashish Upadhyaya, Additional Secretary & FA from Ministry of Power.
Shri A. K. Gautam, Director (Finance), Shri Dillip Kumar Patel, Director (Human Resources), Shri Ramesh Babu V., Director (Operations) and Shri Chandan Kumar Mondol, Director (Commercial) were also present on behalf of NTPC Ltd.
This is the 28th consecutive year that NTPC Ltd. has paid dividend.
