HAL gets RFP for 156 Light Combat Helicopters from Defence Ministry

New Delhi: The Ministry of Defence has officially issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of 156 Light Combat Helicopters to the Indian public sector aerospace and defence company, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. This procurement includes 90 units for the Indian Army and 66 units for the Indian Air Force, said HAL in its regulatory filing today.
The issuance of this RFP marks a significant development in the modernization efforts of the Indian armed forces, aiming to bolster its aerial capabilities with advanced Light Combat Helicopters.
