HDFC Bank inaugurates Medical Oxygen Generation Plant at Civil Hospital, Haryana
The oxygen plant will support the hospital in becoming self-sufficient towards handling critical cases requiring oxygen support and eliminate dependence on cryogenic tankers to transport oxygen from distant locations.

Haryana: HDFC Bank on Thursday, December, 02, 2021announced that it has installed a Medical Oxygen Generation Plant at Civil Hospital, Jagadhri, Haryana under the bank’s flagship CSR programme Parivartan to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure. The medical oxygen generation plant will generate 1000 LPM oxygen per day.
The oxygen plant will support the hospital in becoming self-sufficient towards handling critical cases requiring oxygen support and eliminate dependence on cryogenic tankers to transport oxygen from distant locations.
The medical plant at Civil Hospital, Jagadhri, Haryana was inaugurated by Ch. Kanwar Pal, Education, Forest and Parliament Affairs Minister, Haryana. Amongst other dignitaries Sh. Ghanshyam Dass Arora, MLA, Yamunanagar, Sh. Madan Chouhan, Mayor, Yamunanagar, Sh. Parth Gupta, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar, Sh. Rohit Chadha, Cluster Head, HDFC Bank and Dr. Vijay Dahiya, Chief Medical Officer, Yamunanagar graced the occasion.
Commenting at the inauguration Sh. Vikas Kochhar, Circle Head, HDFC Bank said, “HDFC Bank is committed to nation-building. As part of our continued endeavor to serve the community the Bank has taken this initiative of installing the medical oxygen plant at the hospital. The bank’s initiative is in line with Government of India’s National Health Mission. Through #Parivartan the Bank has always thrived towards gearing behavioral change amongst communities and to improve the prevailing Health and Hygiene situation in India.
