HDFC Bank Q2 profit Preview; may report 15 % growth in standalone profit
Last Quarter bank reported 16 percent growth in net profit year-on-year (YoY) at Rs 7,729.64 crore.
New Delhi: HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector lender, may report standalone profit growth of 15 percent in the second quarter of this financial year, experts said. Last Quarter bank reported 16 percent growth in net profit year-on-year (YoY) at Rs 7,729.64 crore.
HDFC Bank is expected to announce the Q2 profit today on Oct 16, 2021. Analysts at PhillipCapital said “Stable asset quality and credit cost will continue to aid profitability. Opex growth will continue to be lower than balance-sheet growth. Other income includes a trading gain of Rs 250 crore on stake sale in CDSL. Overall coverage may decline to 134 percent from 146 percent in Q1FY22.” according to ET.
