New Delhi:  Ms. Archna Bhardwaj, Executive Director (Shipping), Refineries Headquarters, IndianOil, was conferred the prestigious ‘Women Executive of the Year in Oil & Gas Industry - 2021’ by Mr. H S Puri, Hon’ble Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas, in the presence of Mr. Rameswar Teli, Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas & Labour and Employment, Mr. Tarun Kapoor, Secretary (Petroleum), MoP&NG, Mr. S M Vaidya, Chairman, IndianOil on November 26, 2021.

 

With more than 35 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering, Projects, Training, Materials & Contracts and Shipping, Ms. Bhardwaj has attained many milestones in her remarkable journey with IndianOil. Ms. Bhardwaj has the distinction of becoming the first women Civil Engineer of IndianOil, the first lady M&C Head at Gujarat Refinery, the first lady Executive Director to head Materials & Contracts of IndianOil, and the first lady Executive Director to head the Shipping Department of IndianOil.

 

On winning the award, Ms. Bhardwaj said that emphasis on teamwork and authentic communication leads one on the path of success. She urged the younger generation to always be ready to take challenging assignment for there is no substitute for hard work and self-initiative.
