New Delhi: IndianOil Chairman S. M. Vaidya expressed the company's energy journey on 74th Republic Day, speaking on the occasion he said, "IndianOil has emerged as the fountainhead of India's energy equity which is the cornerstone of a thriving democracy. And now, we are steering India's energy transition journey. As India emerges as a guiding star for the world in crafting a more sustainable planet, IndianOil is steering India's green journey. Our resolve to reach Net Zero operational emissions by 2046 signifies our passion to deliver for the nation.
He further added, "The spirit of nationalism inspires us every day to serve & delight 3 crore customers at our fuel stations, 26 lakh families receiving Indane cylinders or over 2300 flights that our teams refuel. Indian Oil is proud to energise a billion lives every day"
Mr. Vaidya also launched IndianOil's Parivartan Prison To Pride Campaign's 4th Phase which will now extend the magic of sports to enhance the life quality of inmates across 17 prisons. Also launched IndianOil's Nayi Disha which aims to facilitate the rehabilitation of 2500+ young inmates at 3 Juvenile Correctional Homes in Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, through sports.
He said, The young ones are our future and this endeavor will remain very close to my heart.
