IREDA handed over an AC Mobile Medical Van to Samphia Foundation

Himachal Pradesh: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) today provided an Air Conditioned Mobile Medical Van for running the “Therapy on Wheels” Program to Samphia Foundation, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh for serving children with disabilities, under its CSR Initiative.
Shri Pradip Kumar Das, CMD, IREDA handed over the ambulance to the officials of the Samphia Foundation in the presence of Shri Chintan Shah, Director (Technical), Dr. P. Sreenivasan, GM (HR & CSR), and other senior officials at the Corporate office of IREDA.
Speaking on the occasion, CMD, IREDA highlighted that the therapy–center-on-wheels, a well-equipped therapy setup will provide Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to children with disabilities. The Mobile Therapy Unit (MTU) will also play an active role in spreading awareness and information. An in-built projector will help in educating the local residents on the importance of early detection and intervention of disabilities.
The Mobile Medical Van provided by IREDA will help to meet the needs of differently-abled children by reaching remote interior areas. The therapy bus will travel to lesser accessible areas in Kullu and neighboring districts of Himachal Pradesh.
