ITI Limited distributes general provision items to poor families
Bengaluru : Continuing its efforts to provide support to needy people during the nation-wide lockdown,ITI Limited distributed the general provision items to poor families of Bhovi colony, Caudhenahalli, Varnasi, Yrannpalya and Muneshwar nagar. More than 1200 bags containing rice, sugar, ragi flour, sooji, riceflakes, tea packets, salt and biscuits were provided to needy people of nearby localities.
Reiterating its commitment to giving back to society, Shri R M Agarwal, CMD, ITI Limited said, "In the first phase the company has already adopted 1000 poor families of Ambedkar Nagar near ITI Township, Doorvani Nagar. In the second phase of distribution today, we have included more nearby localities and distributed more than 1200 provision bags to families who are not able to go to work during the lockdown. ITI as a committed entity will keep helping the society in the coming days as well."
