The SS grades for the coastal railway infrastructure have been approved by the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) of the Indian Railways, JSL said.

New Delhi: India's largest stainless steel producer Jindal Stainless Limited has supplied 155 metric tonnes stainless steel for the nation's second-of-its-kind foot-over-bridge (FOB) at Srikakulam Road Railway Station, Waltair Division, East Coast Railway.
"Contributing to a sustainable and corrosion-free railway infrastructure, JSL supplied 155 metric tonne SS for another stainless steel FOB at Srikakulam unveiled on Tuesday," the company said in a statement. The SS grades for the coastal railway infrastructure have been approved by the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) of the Indian Railways, JSL said.
Jointly unveiled by Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Srikakulam Lok Sabha Constituency, Shri Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu; Hon’ble Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Shri Tammineni Sitarama, and Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Waltair Division, East Coast Railways, Mr Anup Kumar Satpathy along with AVP, Sales Development, Jindal Stainless, Mr Vanka Shivramakrishna, the FOB is in line with the government’s vision of developing modern and sustainable coastal infrastructure.
