KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs 1,136 crore across its various business segments. The company's transmission and distribution division has received an order from Power Grid Corporation of India for a 765 kV transmission line project.
Additionally, its transportation segment has obtained an order in the train collision avoidance system (TCAS) sector under the 'Kavach' initiative in India.
Furthermore, KEC's oil and gas pipelines division has been awarded a design, supply, and build order for pipelines and associated works from a prominent public sector undertaking (PSU) in India.
With these new contracts, the company's year-to-date order intake has reached Rs 20,600 crore, marking an impressive 80% growth compared to the previous year, according to Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International.

KEC International shares were trading 2.53% lower at Rs 1,098.6 apiece at 9.45 am Wednesday, January 8. The stock has gained 79.44% in the past year.
