MCL Sign MoU for Rs 7.5 crore CSR project

New Delhi: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) takes pleasure in initiating a CSR project "Saksham" costing Rs 7.5 crore, that will provide 500 e-rickshaws to Divyang Jan in Odisha. This initiative is designed to empower needy Divyang people to earn their livelihood with dignity within their communities.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this project was signed today with the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Odisha. The occasion was graced by Shri Amrit Lal Meena, Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Coal; Shri PM Prasad, Chairman, Coal India and Shri Uday Anant Kaole, CMD, MCL.
