Meeting with contractual agencies on COVID-19

At the outset, CMD thanked all the representatives of the Contractual Agencies for their whole-hearted support for augmentation of production in the last leg of the financial year as discussed during the meeting held on 17.03.2020 in spite of unfavourable conditions prevailing due to spreading of Corona Virus. He requested to convey the appreciation to all their Team Members.

 

The representatives of the Contractual Agencies mentioned about different measures adopted by them for protection of their employees which includes periodic sanitization of all the equipment and Camps, provision of Sanitizer, Soap, Mask, Gloves, arrangement of isolation of sick employees, arrangement of thermal scanning at the beginning and end of the shift, arrangement of their foodings inside the Camps, etc. Some of the representatives of the Contractual Agencies mentioned about regular health check-up as precautionary measures.

 

The representatives of the Contractual Agencies appreciated the co-operation provided by the Area General Managers and the Mine officials. They also assured that all necessary steps shall be taken for maintaining the level of production to the extent possible.CMD and all FDs thanked the representatives of the Contractual Agencies for their proactive steps and assured that all sorts of helps shall be extended to them for protecting their employees.
