Meghalaya Increase manpower in SBI
Meghalaya: Social activist demanded to recruit more staff members due to the shortage of staff at the state bank of India (SBI) Chibinang branch. As of Customers facing problems in this COVID-19 pandemic period by travelling for so long in hilly areas and did not get the good results which leads to the waste of time and money.
In the recent statement of activist Ishraful Hoque said that the general public from the area are facing hurdles due to lack of manpower at the bank.
“Customers of the branch are having a hard time as there is only one cashier and accountant who cannot cater to the needs of the customers of such a large area. Many people, especially from the hilly areas, leave their household chores behind for official work at the bank with no guarantee that it will be completed in one visit. This has led to wastage of people’s time and money,” Hoque said.
