Minister Pralhad Joshi inaugurates Silo loading system in ECL
The Coal Handling Plant has a capacity of 12 MT per year & is an environment-friendly, mechanised method of coal transportation.
West Bengal: Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Shri Pralhad Joshi on November 24 inaugurated a Silo loading system at Sonepur Bazari Project in Eastern Coalfields Limited (A subsidiary of Coal India).
He visited Sonepur Bazari Opencast mine and directed the concerned GM to increase production from 35000 tonnes to 45000 tonnes per day. Also interacted with workers & motivated them to keep contributing for India's progress.
The Coal Handling Plant has a capacity of 12 MT per year & is an environment-friendly, mechanised method of coal transportation. This CHP-Silo system will boost loading efficiency.
The Sonepur Bazari mine is located in the Eastern Part of Raniganj Coalfields in the district of Burdwan, West Bengal, Mine Location 14 km away from G. T. Road, 30 km away from Asansol Railway Station, 35 km away from Durgapur Railway Station.
