Ministry of Defence and BEL signed contract worth Rs 1,000

The Ministry of Defence (MoD), Government of India, and BEL have signed a contract for procurement of Software Defined Radio Tactical (SDR-Tac) worth over Rs 1,000 crore in New Delhi on February 8, 2021.

New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed a contract for procurement of SDR-Tac worth over Rs. 1,000 Crore.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD), Government of India, and BEL have signed a contract for procurement of Software Defined Radio Tactical (SDR-Tac) worth over Rs 1,000 crore in New Delhi on February 8, 2021. 

Ms. Nidhi Chhibber, Joint Secretary & Acquisition Manager (Maritime Systems), MoD, and Mr. Manoj Kumar, Executive Director (National Marketing), BEL, are seen in the photo displaying the contract in the presence of Rear Admiral R Sreenivas, VSM, Technical Manager, (Maritime & Systems), Mr. Vedveer Arya, FMMS, MoD, Cmde SK Chhetri, PDVAS/NHQ, Cdr Y Pramod, JDNS/NHQ, Mr. R S Kutiyal, Sr DGM (National Marketing), BEL, and other senior officers.
