MRPL continued to fight against COVID-19
Mangaluru: MRPL has continued to remain in operation and has produced essential products like Petrol, Diesel and LPG to help our nation move forward and put a brave fight. Our employees and secondary workforce are doing exceptional service by sustaining the refinery operations by contributing in different ways.
Through this service, we have been able to serve millions of people by ensuring they cook food and the essential groceries, medicines etc reach them. They have been ensuring that our workplaces and refinery area is neat and clean. In addition, they have the additional responsibility of sanitising the common touch points, door handles, rollers etc. This priceless service of the House Keeping staff has helped our operators to perform duties of extended hours, which has become essential due to the lockdown restrictions. They work extra hard as their numbers have shrunk due to the COVID lockdown.
Most of these workers belong to remote locations of Karnataka and their families would prefer them to be at home amid this kind of uncertainty. Still, our associates have not run away from their duty and have extended their wholehearted co-operation during these crucial times. We salute them for their valuable service and thankfully acknowledge its value.
