New Delhi:  IRCTC has decided to restore the full 6 days of service of India's second private train 82901 / 82902 Ahmedabad–Mumbai Central Tejas Express which connects Ahmedabad to Mumbai along with six stations named Nadiad, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali. IRCTC in the official notice released on April 1, 2022, said that the IRCTC restores 6 days week schedule in 82902 - 82901 Mumbai Ahmedabad Tejas Express  (now Tuesday also) from  April 12, 2022. Also, Thursday shall be the default weekly maintenance off.

Further, it is also said that IRCTC is quite sensitive to the safety & health of its passengers and is closely monitoring the pandemic. The guidelines of the local states are being followed and preventive safe measures like sanitisation of passenger touch areas are being adhered.

IRCTC hence invites all travellers on the route between Ahmedabad and Mumbai to travel in comfort with sumptuous F&B services on board taken care of by a mix of Rail Hosts and Hostesses in every coach. This train is fully secured and has its in-house security with full access control.
