New Delhi: Northern Coalfields Limited, Chairman and Managing Director Shri Bhola Singh visited Bina project on Monday. He reviewed the ongoing construction of Bina-Kakri CHP, one of 9 FMC project.
He also went to coal receiving point and silo. He visited Dragline erection yard in the wake of upcoming Dragline commissioning.
NCL Bina Coal Mine is a fully operating power plant and is located at Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, India. The total capacity of the mine is about 6000000 Tonnes/year.
The area name for the coal mine is Singrauli and is a Surface (open-cast pit) type mine. The type of coal from this mine is Bituminous, which contains more ash content.
The grade of coal from the mine is rated as D to E and the useful heat value of the coal is rated at 3360 - 4200 kcal per kg. The coal from the mine is evacuated using the Merry-go-around railway system provided by power plants.
