New improved employee zone website launched at SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant

NEW DELHI- A new and improved employee zone website was launched at SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), by Mr. Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, on 23rd November 2022. The new website has  additional value added features in addition to the existing facility available in employee zone of RSP Portal. Mr. S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works), Mr. P K Satapathy, ED (P&A), Mr. P K Sahoo, ED (Projects), Mr. Somnath Tripathy, ED (MM), Dr. B K Hota, ED (M&HS), Mr. P K Rath, CGM In-Charge (Mines), Mr. A K Behuria, CGM In-Charge (F&A) and many other senior officers were present on the occasion.

The website was developed by Mr V P Arya, AGM(C&IT) and Mr Somadutt Tripathy, Manager(PL)OD under the guidance of Mr S Badpanda, DGM(PL-OD).

The DIC congratulated the team for the enterprising job. He also felicitated Mr. V P Arya,   and Mr. Somdutta Tripathy, for their contributions. 

Mr Badpanda explained the new features of the website. Notably, the website has been developed as a part of the digital roadmap for the digitization of HR at RSP. The new website can be accessed on both intranet and internet and is also android & IOS mobile compatible. The URL of the website is https://empzone.sailrsp.co.in. Various new features have been incorporated into the new website to improve user experience.

These include an Employee assistance register, a Dashboard of various statistics on employee data for HR, Experience details, Succession Planning, Executive coordination meetings, Managerial excellence and PF Ledger. The Executive's co-ordination meeting module provided on the website is a transparent way of recording all the suggestions given by the Young executives during the executive's co-ordination meeting for which a circular has been issued recently.

The concerned executive can also view the status of his/her suggestion in the employee zone. The employees can access the content by clicking on the links in the navigation bar.
