New Uniforms Distributed to the Girls of Welfare School by Udita Ladies Club, NTPC Farakka
The children were specially invited to celebrate the day on the campus with due safety protocols, as the schools are closed due to Covid restrictions.
New Delhi: On the occasion of Children's Day celebrations, Udita Ladies Club, NTPC Farakka distributed new uniforms to the bright young girls of the Welfare School run by the club.
Along with the uniforms, nutritious meals and milk were given to children, under the Kanya Poshan and Milk Shakti schemes being run by the Club. The event progressed with beautiful dance and song performances presented by the children.

These girls come from underprivileged backgrounds with families that reside in local villages, a majority of whom work in beedi-making factories.
Smt. Maya Singh, President of ULC along with the other members of the Club encouraged the children and gave them their best wishes.
