NFL nangal half marathon to be held on 23rd February 2020

New Delhi: The 3rd Edition of NFL Nangal Half Marathon shall be held on 23rd February 2020, Sunday at Naya Nangal. The event shall be inaugurated by Sh Manoj Mishra, C&MD, NFL.Every year, a number of Marathoners take part in the event for its adventurous track, scenic surroundings and beautiful weather. 

 

This year again, the Marathon track shall wind around Serpentine pathways along Sutlej river providing an opportunity to witness divinity of the rising sun. The Nangal Wetland area along Sutlej – a winter home of more than 40,000 migratory birds shall also be part of the Marathon track.

The Marathon shall be in three distance categories with timing chips in 21.2 Kms and 10 Kms. For 5 Km runners, it will be without distance chip.

Participants shall be categorised in age groups from 18 years onwards and up to 65+ years. All participants will be given T Shirt, Medal, Certificates, Refreshments, bib, Route support, and attractive prizes and trophies for winners.

 

NFL employees (male) who wish to participate in 10 or 21 Km category and women employees who wish to complete in 5 Km category are cordially invited. All these employees shall be provided facilities at par with employees who participate in Inter-Unit Sports events of the company.
