NHPC organized culture programme on New Year 2021
Faridabad: NHPC Limited, India's premier hydropower company organized a grand cultural programme on the occasion of New Year 2021 on 1" January 2021 at NHPC office Complex, Faridabad. Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The function was also graced by senior NHPC officers including Shri NK. Jain, Director (Personnel), Shri Y.K. Chanbey, Director (Technical), Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), Shri Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects), and Shri A.K. Srivastava, CVO, NHPC along with other senior NHPC officers and employees. The function was held following all social distancing norms in view of the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC extended his warm wishes for New Year 2021 to all NHPCians and highlighted the achievements of NHPC. He also informed about the new developments and projects being awarded to NHPC, especially in Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim, and Manipur. He praised NHPC engineers and officers for their hard work and dedication during the lockdown period wherein NHPC continued to generate power on a 24 x 7 basis.
Shri A.K. Singh further Informed that the NHIPC senior management is in continuous talks with various state governments at the highest levels and NHPC will be getting a lot of projects in the future. CMD, NHPC stressed the importance of effective communication for efficient delivery of the projects. He appealed to all employees to work harder and contribute to making NHPC a world-class company. All NHPC projects power stations were also linked to the event through live webcasting and Facebook Live. A special highlight of the programme was the musical performance by singer Mr. Vipin Aseja, which was well received by the audience.
