NMDC’s Best Ever February Performance; production up by 11.7%

Hyderabad: Country’s largest iron ore producer NMDC reported production of 4.31 MT and sale of 3.97 MT of iron ore for the month of February 2022. This reflects a growth of 11.7% in production and 22.2% in sales over the CPLY, the highest production and sales numbers for any February in the history of the mining major.
Cumulative production and sales for the first eleven months of FY22, up to February 2022, stood at 37.18 MT and 36.57 MT respectively registering a growth of 26% in production and 25.5% in sales over the same period last year. These also represent the best ever 11 months of physical performance for NMDC.
