New Delhi: Numaligarh Refinery Limited issued a warning on a fake website bearing URL www.nrlindia.in has been created in the name of Numaligarh Refinery Limited by replicating NRL’s authentic Corporate Website www.nrl.co.in to defraud money from unsuspecting candidates for fake vacancies advertised under Career section.

The company issued the advisory mentioning, that the company have not advertised such vacancies and filed a complaint against it.

It mentioned, Please note that no such vacancies have been advertised by NRL. The company has registered a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal of the Government of India and is lodging an FIR at the local Police Station to address the issue and nab the fraudsters. 

Meanwhile, we request everyone to be cautious and not pay any money on the fraudulent website against non-existent jobs, it added.

However, the fake website features a link named ‘Career’ at the Main Menu of the Home page. Clicking on the link takes one to the page where the fake vacancies are advertised seeking details of the candidate and redirecting them to the Payment Application page for making Rs. 1,000 online transfers for their application.
