NRL organised interactive session with Hon’ble MPs of North-East
CMD OIL and Chairman NRL Dr. R Rath, MD NRL Shri B J Phukan, and the leadership of OIL and NRL were present.
New Delhi: An interactive session with the Hon’ble MPs of the North-East MP’s Forum was organised by NRL at New Delhi on 3rd August 2022 under the Chairmanship of Shri Kiren Rijiju, Hon’ble Union Minister of Law & Justice.
The interaction was attended by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH, Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon’ble MoS for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labour & Employment, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh Hon’ble MoS for External Affairs and Education, Smt Pratima Bhoumik Hon’ble MoS for Social Justice, Shri Vincent Pala, General Secretary North-East MP’s Forum and most of the Hon’ble MPs from the North-East MP’s Forum. CMD OIL and Chairman NRL Dr. R Rath, MD NRL Shri B J Phukan, and the leadership of OIL and NRL were present.
NRL’s presentation of its operations, projects and activities to the forum was widely appreciated by the Hon’ble Ministers and MP’s. Questions and queries regarding the company were duly answered by MD, NRL to the satisfaction of the Hon’ble MPs who appreciated the efforts of NRL and committed their unwavering support for smooth implementation of its ongoing Mega Refinery Expansion project from 3 MMTPA to 9 MMTPA and the first of its kind 2G Bio Refinery being implemented through a JV, Assam Bio Refinery Pvt. Ltd.
