NTPC commercial operations for 8 MW capacity at Auraiya Solar PV Project

New Delhi: India’s largest energy conglomerate NTPC commenced commercial operations for 8 MW capacity at Auraiya Solar PV Project in Uttar Pradesh. With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC stands at 62,918 MW.
 
 
The present installed capacity of NTPC Group is 62,918 MW (including 11,755 MW through JVs/Subsidiaries) comprising of 46 NTPC Stations which includes 24 Coal based stations, 7 gas-based stations, 1 Hydro station, 1 small hydro, 12 Solar PV, and 1 Wind-based Station and 25 Joint Venture stations are 9 coal-based, 4 gas-based, 8 hydro, 1 small hydro 2 Wind and 1 Solar PV.
 
NTPC has a great presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. It is focussed on its energy transition pursuit by transforming into a ‘Sustainable Integrated Energy Company’. It has ambitious plans to move from a 62 GW to a 130 GW company by 2032.
