NEW DELHI- NTPC Dulanga celebrated 74th Republic Day with traditional grandeur .Shri Neeraj Jalota, Head of Project, NTPC Dulanga unflured the National Flag and took the ceremonial salute. This was followed by his address.
In his speech, he remembered the valiant efforts of our national leaders and freedom fighters, who won our freedom through years of struggle and great sacrifice. It was on this momentous day in 1950 that our constitution was adopted and our country was declared a "Republic."
He urged the staff to live as NTPCians who uphold the honour of their country.With an objective of developing into the best power utility in the world, NTPC has significantly fueled the country's progress. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the active participation of each of its members.
He also highlighted the accomplishments of NTPC Dulanga and extended his appreciation to the staff for advancing the project's CSR and environmental protection efforts. NTPC Dulanga was honoured with four awards in various categories at the Annual Mines Safety Fortnight Awards 2021–2022, which were held under the auspices of DGMS. NTPC Dulanga also won the Greentech Environment Award for the year 2022 in the category of Environmental Protection.
The employees who won the GM Meritorious Award for their commitment to improving the productivity of the project were also recognised by the Head of Project, NTPC Dulanga.
The event came to a positive end with everyone showing their patriotism and appreciation for our armed forces.
