This year the theme of the exhibition is ‘Self Reliant India: Sustainable Development.
NTPC Farakka participates in 9th Indian National Exhibition cum Fair
New Delhi: As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, NTPC Farakka is participating in the 9th Indian National Exhibition cum Fair from 4th to 8th August 2022, organized by Bengal Human Resource Development Foundation at Kolkata.
This year the theme of the exhibition is ‘Self Reliant India: Sustainable Development. NTPC is depicting its glorious journey in building the Indian power sector and its various technological marvels, which are built utilizing renewable energy sources for sustainable power generation.
The exhibition is being attended by many school students who are learning about the innovative use of technology by NTPC, such as the Largest Floating Solar PV System, Flue Gas Based Air Conditioning System, Solar Power Sea Water Desalination System, Fly Ash based Geo-Polymer Concrete Road, the all developed by NETRA.
A pledge wall is installed to aware and encourage people to take small pledges for an Energy Efficient India.
NTPC Farakka is also showcasing its commendable work in bringing advanced technology to the remotest villages of Farakka, through initiatives like, Solar powered water pumps, smart class and sanitary napkin vending machines at local schools and mobile medical units.
The people were seen enjoying the exhibition, interacting with the exhibits and learning about NTPC.
