NTPC Korba Celebrates Navratri with religious fervor
The festival of Durga Puja is celebrated with full devotion, dedication, and reverence. Such holy events create such an environment that inculcates the feeling of mutual respect and trust along with cultural and social consciousness in the society.
Devotees performing dhunuchi aarti with dhaak and loban, people performing garba dance amidst twinkling lights, such scenes were seen in the ongoing Navratri festival in the premises of NTPC Korba. To celebrate Navdurga Durgotsav with full gaiety, the pandal of Maa Durga has been decorated with various colors and Garba dance has been organized during the festival at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Stadium.
The performance of Garba on devotional songs to worship Maa Durga during Navratri has increased the enthusiasm among the devotees. There is great enthusiasm among women and children in the festival.
This year the temple complex and Navdurga pandal have also been decorated in an attractive manner. For, the whole day the court is filled with devotees seeking the blessings of Maa Durga.
After this, the Dandiya Night begins in which the devotees of Goddess Durga make a circle and perform Garba. Different themes have also been kept making the Garba program interesting. For the entertainment of the devotees, stalls of various delicacies and other things have also been set up near the pandal premises.

Navdurga Puja started with Kalash Yatra and Jyoti lighting on the first day. After this, worship-aarti and wreaths were performed regularly every day. Jagran, Kalratri Darshan, Havan, Kanya-Poojan, Khichdi Bhog, and Poornahuti were also performed during the festival.
