NTPC-Ramagundam distributes essential grocery items among 4500 migrant workers
Ramagundam: NTPC-Ramagundam under its CSR-CD activities has pitched in to shore up the national fight against COVID-19 by distributing Essential Grocery Items among 4500 Migrant Workers. These grocery items include Dal, Salt, Edible Oil, etc with financial implication of Rs 16 lakhs.
The distribution was done at NTPC-Telangana Project Office on April 06, 2020. ED-Ramagundam & Telangana Shri Raj Kumar handed over the essential grocery items to the migrant workers who are facing unprecedented situation due to the 21-day lockdown imposed to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. Shri Raj Kumar reaffirmed NTPC’s fight against Coronavirus by taking all possible measures. He further asked all to follow government’s instruction. During this occasion, Social Distancing maintained as well as workers were sensitized on coronavirus.
CGM (Project) Shri Prem Prakash; Head of HR Shri A K Jadli; AGM (HR-CSR) Shri Rafiqul Islam and other NTPC officials were present on the occasion.
