NTPC Talcher Kaniha distributes masks to contract workers

Talcher: To keep its neighborhood and Township safe from the perils of novel Corona virus, NTPC Talcher Kaniha management is taking pro-active several measures. In addition to enforcing social distancing by markings and sanitisation of roads, the Station is also distributing masks to its employees, contract workers and neighbouring villages.

 

Under CSR initiative of the Station, NTPC handed over 500 cotton masks to Gadasila Gram Panchayat on April 3, 2020 to be distributed in the village. Further, NTPC officials also visited various shops in its Township and surrounding village areas to distribute 200 cotton masks among shopkeepers, vegetable and fruit vendors. The effort was well received by the residents and they actively came forward to receive the masks, thereby demonstrating a sense of awareness regarding the spread of Covid-19
