OIL achieved target of 330.7%, applauded by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas

New Delhi: Oil India Limited, a fully integrated National petroleum E&P company in the upstream sector in India has achieved the target by 330.7%. The Ministry of petroleum and natural gas has also applauded the OIL for the same.
According to ET, the Secretary of MoPNG, Tarun Kapoor in a letter stated, "An internal review of the achievement of the budgeted IEBR for FY 20- 21 revealed that as against the target of Rs 3837 crores, your achievement has been Rs 12,801 crores, which is 330.7% of the target. "
It added, "Excluding the investment in NRL, your achievement against the original target has been Rs 4124.47 crores, which is 106.4% of the original target."
He stated, " I take this opportunity to congratulate you and your team for this excellent achievement, despite several constraints including Covid. I hope that this momentum will be sustained in FY 21-22 as well. The CAPEX targets are higher for FY 21-22 and we have to put all efforts to exceed the targets this year as well, ET mentioned.
